For the same budget (say AED 2M), you're choosing between a 2-bed apartment in a premium location (Marina, Downtown, Dubai Hills) or a 3-bed townhouse in a suburban community (Town Square, DAMAC Hills 2, Villanova). Apartments: walkability, amenities within the building, less maintenance, easier to lock-and-leave. Townhouses: privacy, garden for kids and pets, less neighbour noise, more storage, feeling of owning a "home" versus a unit. Neither is objectively better — it depends on your life stage and priorities.
